Sanctuary for all

Sunday Service 9am

Our services are pretty informal, with a mixture of set prayers, worship songs and opportunities for prayer ministry.

Most Sunday services include Holy Communion with a service focussed on healing once a month.

After the service tea, coffee (and often cake) is served in the church.

About

Over many years St Mary's has been a place where people have come, found refuge, friendship and met with God.

Today we describe St Mary's as being about 'Sanctuary'

Firstly a Sanctuary as a place where hurting people find refuge are cared for and loved. Secondly a Sanctuary as a place where we find it easy to meet with God. Thirdly we aim to become Sanctuary's for our families, workplaces, and communities as through us people find peace and experience the kindness of Jesus.

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a place of safety in times of trouble. Those who know you, Lord, will trust you; you do not abandon anyone who comes to you.
